Years ago, while driving through a state that I won’t mention but rhymes with Lew Lersey — I saw a hotel. It was run-down and it was outdated. Outside it let me know three things:
- They had vacancy
- They had HBO
- And it was only $10 a night to stay there
My thoughts were this:
- I hope they’ve got bedbugs to eat all the Chlamydia on their sheets
- I have HBO on my phone
- And if you paid me $100 I still wouldn’t stay there
Is there a possibility the same could be said about your website? Aside from the reference to venereal disease.
Digital Transformation isn’t here, it was yesterday. If you’re not doing all within your power to clean up, update, establish, revamp, or freshen-up your website — the bus hasn’t left on you yet but the driver is doing a headcount.
In this post, we’re going to guide you through 4 simple reasons why your website may not be performing how you like. And when we’re done that, because we’re so darn benevolent, we’re going to give you solutions. I mean anyone can point out problems, right? It’s the solution where things get sticky. No worries, though. We got you.
How many of you have been house shopping? The first thing that stops you in your tracks is how the house looks, ya? Whether you and your spouse are driving around “just-looking,” or your scrolling like a person possessed through an app — it’s how it looks that causes the potential customer to take action.
The same thing is to be said about your website. Whether it’s,
- Mobile friendly
- Minimalist or
- What have you
Your website, just like everything, needs to evolve. At JEG DESIGN INC they have THOUSANDS of themes to choose from. And if you don’t like what they got, they have custom design capabilities as well. More than that though, they’ll help you determine what design is best for you and your company.
Hosting, Email, Security, etc.
Raise of hands, how many of you have more than one control to operate the television? Better yet, how many of you can remember the days when there was no such thing as a Universal Remote? You had the one for the television, one for the cable box, one for the soundbar because flat-screen audio sucks, and one for the DVD player. You know why? Because we’re stupid.
Here’s the deal — keeping up with your web hosting or even establishing it can be tricky. Creating and managing your email lists can be confusing and horrifying. And web security, well, that stuff will keep you up at night. Especially if you operate an e-commerce site. So, what’s the point? The point is if you’re struggling to keep up with everything your website requires to operate effectively — don’t you think your website is suffering too?
JEG DESIGN INC will not only handle all of these aspects for you, they’ll put their record of doing it up against any company. Not only will your site be operating at optimum levels, but you will too. And so won’t your business. Additionally, if you’re already with a service that takes care of all of this for you, check what you’re paying. If you believe you’re paying too much or are just curious as to what JEG DESIGN INC can offer — they’ll be happy to provide you a free estimate!
I’m gonna get a little personal here for a moment, I struggle. What I struggle with is reading my old writing. I don’t know, I can imagine it’s like a radio DJ would feel listening to one of their first shows. Or how the Rock must feel when he watches himself wrestle as Rocky Maivia. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I’m Aaron Sorkin over here. I’m just saying what I did years ago isn’t as refined as what I create today.
Can’t the same be said for your website? If your content is outdated or even worse, irrelevant — well, that’s the ball game folks. Your content must be relevant, updated, and hear this if you hear anything at all (while your reading), it must be SEO friendly. Oh, and it better be good too!
True story, when I first became a professional writer my web page/company was called Short, Bitter, Italian. By all means, judge. And as you judge, Google short bitter Italian. See what comes up. Know what didn’t come up, until page 4? A picture of Danny DeVito. Just kidding, my website.
What does this have to do with anything? Everything needs to be SEO friendly on your site, and even something as simple as your name will affect it. So put out high-quality, informative content. Be an expert about whatever it is that you do. And be darn sure your content embodies that authoritative voice. In your company’s unique tone, of course. What do we mean by that? Well, contact S.B.I. Content Creation (so much better) and we can go through it with you.
Are you a sports fan? If you are, you’ve realized something is missing. More like 80,000 things are missing with every game you watch — fans. Fans let you know when things are good. And they definitely let you know when things are bad. Fans are the lifeblood of sports. Without them, it’s not only different, the games seem like they can’t exist.
Just like your customers. Customers are the lifeblood of your company. First, before we say anything else, do you know how to check your web traffic? If you don’t, you need to. With that being said, if your web traffic is non-existent, many of the reasons above are probably the reasons why. But not always.
Contact JEG DESIGN INC and they will provide an evaluation of your site to determine specifically what is causing your site to not get the ideal amount of traffic. And they can possibly promise you more. How? Contact them to find out.
While there is a possibility that people are extremely sleep deprived while navigating the cyber-highways, plus have a hankering for some HBO, and only have $10 in their pocket — it’s highly unlikely they’re still going to stop by your website. Especially if they don’t even know it exists.
Being relevant on the world wide web isn’t rocket science, despite what some will try to tell you. It’s the simple things that will get you there. And while they aren’t necessarily simple to you, they are to JEG DESIGN INC.
Contact JEG DESIGN INC for your free estimate and find out how easy it is to get yourself a functional, secure, active, and SEO friendly website, today!
